  Launched twelve years ago, innocent sells more than two million pure fruit smoothies each week in 11,000 UK outlets. Here’s the story behind the “face with the halo” logo quoted from a comment thread on the Fast Tractor innocent blog.   Republique is an upcoming iOS title that's made a lot of noise by getting funded on Kickstarter recently, to the tune of half a million dollars, but I've had one nagging question about it: How exactly are they going to distribute the app to all of their backers? The most obvious solution would be to put a password gate inside of an app, but Apple doesn't allow that. If you have to lock content in your app, then you're clearly selling it outside of the App Store, which means you're dodging Apple's 30% cut. So what's their plan? Republique hasn't yet said, only that it's still being decided.

  Reuters reports that China Mobile is talking with Apple about selling the iPhone. China Mobile is the world's largest telecom carrier by subscribers. It claimed over 600 million users at the end of September, 2011 and, interestingly, 10 million iPhone users. Those customers either converted from China Telecom (which does sell iPhones), or bought an iPhone from an Apple Store or the black market.   Gotten my pre-ordered singles the 27th, had them sent to my hotel, so I had 2 handshake tickets in my pocket, so I went off early to Odaiba. I arrived about 1.5 hours before the exchange of the tickets and got off at the stop at Venus Fort. Since Mega Web wasn't open yet, I had go around the back of the building, but when I approached the back of Zepp Tokyo there was already a staff member guiding me towards the front where there were already a lot of people queuing.   Seems I'll be doing more of these anime conventions from now on :-) After New York Anime Festival in October 2010, this year I'm going to Japan Expo in Paris. Main attractions for me will be May'n and PASSPO, and in the same weekend X Japan is performing in Paris as well, so that a perfect combination!   Although a full redesign is due in 2014, Hyundai decided to make some changes its beloved Sonata for the 2013 model year. Prices will increase slightly, by $100 to $150 or more per trim, to reflect some of these updates. For starters, the base 2013 Sonata will have more available features.   Honda has officially won the reversal of a small-claims-court loss to a California woman who dropped out of a class-action lawsuit and pursued her own claim that the company overstated the fuel mileage of its Civic Hybrid. Although the automaker won the court battle and successfully fended off other potential legal woes, its reputation has certainly taken a hit.
